A specifically designed and periodised strength and conditioning program is essential for anyone who takes their competitive sport seriously, and wants to compete to the best of their ability. Whether your sport is strength, power or endurance based a program which addresses the specific needs and requirements of your sport will take you to the next level.
We work with your trainer or coach or train you direct to identify the key factors for improving your performance and then we create a customised training program to achieve the results.
We believe that everyone has structural differences, movement variations, strength and other physiological differences. Therefore, we believe the basis of any strength and conditioning must come from a complete assessment of an athlete.
These assessments will include:
- Postural analysis
- Movement tests
- Muscle length/strength tests
- Nutrition & lifestyle
- Biomotor profile
- Core demands
A specific training plan is devised from a complete assessment. Part of this may be a rehabilitating or corrective exercise phase. This is done to either prevent injuries that are likely following the detection of poor movement patterns during the assessment, or to rehabilitate existing injuries.
Once we have our movement patterns up to scratch we are in a position to work towards enhancing our muscular performance through increased strength, speed, power, endurance or co-ordination.
